Nuclear medicine deparment was estabished Assistant Prof.Dr.Erol Ergüler,Assistant Dr.Zeki Çelen and Physicist Selma Cilban in 1991 and the department began to serve in1992.When Assistant Prof.Dr.Erol Ergüler left, Assistant Prof.Dr.Zeki Çelen became head of the depatment in1995.
Nowadays,There are 3 academic staffs, 4 assistants,1 nurse and 5 technicians, 2 secretaries and 2 cleaners Metabolic imaging by PET has been performed since junary 2006
Equipments in nuclear medicine depatment:
1.PET: Positron Emisyon Tomography.
2.SPECT enable 2 gama camera (One of them two heads)
3. One USG
4. One DEXA (bone dansitometry)
