Açıklama |
This laboratory is intended to familiarize undergraduate students with fundamental experiments in physics with emphasis on Modern Physics. The Laboratory studies aim to provide an understanding of how and why experiments are designed and performed, provide an insight in and some background to modern physics subjects, and develop basic laboratory skills and data analysis techniques. The laboratory is equipped with Helmholtz Coils, He-Ne lasers and different size slits, Milikan oil-drop apparatus, electron diffraction tubes, phototubes, and spectrometer tables. Experiments include determination of the charge-to-mass ratio of the electron, the wave behaviour of light, de Broglie waves, uncertainty principle, photoelectric effect, and atomic structure. |
