Elementary functions, limit and its applications. Continuity and its applications in elementary functions. Derivative for trigonometry, logarithm, exponential, hyperbolic functions and the inverses. Higher order derivation. Derivative extremum of functions, extrama problems, and applications. Rolle and the mean value theories, Taylor theory, L’Hospital rule and its use in determining limit. Differentiation and linear increment. Integration, indefinite integration, integration techniques, basic theory of the definite integral, calculation of area and volume by the definite integral and its applications in various fields. |
