The commands of Islamic religion on individual and social life, formation and application processes of these commands, philosophical bases of Islamic Law and effects of Islamic law to modern law systems are studied within Department of Islamic Law in which major study topics like Islamic Law Methodology, Islamic Law Texts, Islamic Economy and Modern Fiqh Problems take part.

                Within Turkish Law History course given at undergraduate level, it’s been benefitted from this department in which the law system, substantially defined Turkish Law system notably before Tanzimat Reform Era, is studied.
