Having been founded in 1993, our clinic still serves to the patients from Gaziantep region with its 23 inpatient service, general psychiatry outpatient policlinics and 9 subspecialty policlinics as well. In our clinic approximately 400 inpatients and 14000 outpatients are treated annually.
There are one full-time professor(Prof. Dr. Haluk A. Savas, chairman), one full-time professor (Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Altındağ) one full-time associate professor (A/Prof. Dr. Osman Vırıt), two full-time assistant professor (a/Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ünal, a/Prof. Dr. Gökay Alpak), 11 residents, one psychologist and 5 nurses in the department.
In addition to international multi-center studies there are numerous researches still conducted in the department.
