Course Info

Joint structres, classification and characteristics of synovial joints, bone structure, bone tissue, connective tissue, and its function, tendon, ligament structures, cartilage structures and functions, role of muscles, principles of the contraction, types of contraction, basic neurological structures, neurophysiological basis of human movement, shoulder, elbow, wrist,hand, hip, knee, joints and spine are included as topics of functional anatomy. Definition of kinesiology, type of movements ,planes and movements according the axis, sliding and swinging movements of the joints, classification of the body joints, leverage, balance, mechanical principles, properties of the bones, functional adaptation to normal and pathological stresses, bone diseases, characteristics of connective tissue, structure of muscle and cartilage, mechanical properties, pelvis, hip, knee, foot-ankle, shoulder-arm, elbow, hand-wrist mechanics and pathomechanics, normal and pathological gait, mechanics of columna vertebralis, are the topics included in this course of sudy.
