The course is designed to increase students' understanding of the theory and practice of consumer behavior and apply this information to marketing communication strategies. Students learn the consumers' routine and complex decisions about purchasing behavior and the implications of consumer behavior for marketing communications strategy. Specifically, perception, learning, motivation, personality and attitudes are the topics to be covered as internal factors: groups, family, social class and culture are the topics to be covered as external factors.
