Main Concepts of Mental Health: Definition of mental health and concepts of normal-anormal behaviors, main criterias for mental health and normal-anormal behaviors. Main Factors in Mental Health: Main factors affecting mental health (biological and psychosocial), effects of these types of factors on mental health, attachment and development of self model. Assessment Methods for Psychological Dysfunctions: Interview with parents, interview with children and observation, play, child drawings, psychological tests, information getting from school and teacher. Definition, Diagnostic Criterias and Causes of Mental and Adaptation Disorders: Mental retardation, learning disorders, motor disorders, communication disorders, developmental disorders, attention deficieny and hyperactivity disorder, behavior disorders, nutrition disorders, tic disorders, separation anxiety disorder, selective mutism, reactive attachment disorder, stereotypical behavior disorder, enuresis, encopresis, childhood schizophrenia, short-term/long-term mother deprivation, school phobia, masturbation, eating nail, sucking fingers, stealing, lying, other phobias, aggressiveness, jealousy. |
